“Every time I go to Daylight Prayer, I feel refreshed. I am encouraged by the fact that I am with other followers of the Lord and that they are praying for each other and for students on our campus who do not know Christ. I really enjoy that it spreads across all denominations of Christianity and unites us all under a common goal: speak to God, make Him known, and do His will. It does not matter what your background is, you are welcome to come be who you are at Daylight Prayer….It is such a blessing to George Mason University.” -Tyler
“Daylight prayer was a tremendous blessing to me as a student. With so many pressures during finals, it was great to lay them down before God. When I invited my friends, it was amazing to see people from different Christian ministries come by the prayer tent. It was the first time I had prayed with my Catholic friend – Praise God for breaking down barriers! Even people who weren’t believers stopped by.” -Rebecca
“Daylight Prayer was amazing! In these three days of community and unified prayer, God reaches people in unique ways – both believers and unbelievers. I showed up to the tent to pray one day, slightly overwhelmed, yet hungry for God to move. During that time, God surprised me by touching me with the Father’s love, bringing refreshment and comfort. It is truly an exciting privilege not only to partner with God to change the course of history and this campus through our prayers, but to be changed ourselves. I’ve been excited seeing evidence of God’s hand moving during these times. He’s really setting off something special in this time that we’re living in!” -Evan
Sweet! The Presence of the Lord showed up at Daylight Prayer at George Mason University. For three days from 8AM – 8PM, students came to the Prayer Tent set up at the heart of the campus. They prayed for Revival and Spiritual Awakening, for each other, for their campus, and for the world. Every semester, SOI 21 facilitates and organizes this unique event to unite Christians in a spirit of prayer for their school. Plus, it’s a powerful testimony to Mason students to see Christians praying together for three days straight!
Thanks for your prayers and support that make events like this one possible at Mason!
